This book is aimed at helping waiting couples who want to strengthen themselves prayerfully. It is to be used as a 40-days daily devotion with prayer, and confessions. Fasting is also recommended wherever feasible.
There are Prayer Points for each day to pray fervently. The Bible says in James 5:16, "That the prayer of a righteous man avails much".
I recommend that this book should be used with your spouse. Your agreement and commitment to do this as a couple will produce more effect. I know that God is capable of doing what you ask of him.
"How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?" (Deuteronomy 32:30).
- Ensure you read the Bible verses and the words of encouragement. Meditate upon the word and let Him talk to your heart.
- At the end of each devotional, there are confessions based on God's word which you can pray into your lives until you see positive changes. The 'Declaration of Faith' is meant to be spoken out loud (into your life).
- The Prayer Points are there to assist you in your prayer.
- If you want to go deeper in the word, 'Further Reading' will enhance your study.
It is advisable to keep a journal of words of prophecy that you receive during your devotion.
